About Me

I’m a wildlife and nature photographer based on the Surrey/Hampshire border in southern England. The majority of my photographs are taken locally, but I sometimes travel further afield in the UK and occasionally abroad.

Cormorant

One of my childhood memories is seeing all the birds gathering on the electric and phone cables outside my bedroom window in late summer / early autumn. There were so many birds with so little room for them all that when one landed, it pushed another off. Then, one morning, they were all gone, flown south for the winter. Unfortunately, due to the decline in the UK bird population in recent years, sights like this are no longer seen.

Despite this decline, there are still many beautiful birds to photograph, and I really enjoy trying to capture them all. Some of my favourite images are in the gallery. I hope you enjoy them.

Prints of my favourite photos will soon be available to purchase. Follow me on Instagram to be notified when they are for sale and for my latest photos.

Grey Heron

My favourite subjects to photograph are birds, everything from the gardener’s favourite robin to the electric-blue kingfisher. However, I won’t turn down a chance encounter with any animal or the opportunity to photograph a beautiful landscape.
