I was only able to visit once during November due to the weather and my other commitments. The Tufted Ducks have returned for the winter and there were a lot more Gulls along with usual visiters.
All photographs were taken in and around Swan Valley Lake Park during the month of November. The park is a small nature reserve in the Blackwater Valley on the outskirts of Sandhurst. There is a huge variety of bird and insect life and if you are lucky you may even see an occassional deer or fox.

The Gulls were not happy with the Heron roosting at the top of an oak tree…

they repeatedly dived towards it…

until it flew away
