Swan Lake Park – October

October 31, 2024 0 358

Activity is quietening down for winter. The Canada Geece have disappeared for now but there are a couple more Little Egrets and Cormorants. Still plenty of Coots and Gulls. Also my first sighting of a Moorhen for some time.

All photographs were taken in and around Swan Valley Lake Park during the month of October. The park is a small nature reserve in the Blackwater Valley on the outskirts of Sandhurst. There is a huge variety of bird and insect life and if you are lucky you may even see an occassional deer or fox.
